Laura Frione has given her time to local children’s charities in many ways throughout her adult life. Laura deeply believes that every child should be loved, have a sense of stability, and be given the best possible start in life. She has served as president for The Place of Hope’s Angel Moms and continues to stay active in numerous philanthropic endeavors and community organizations. In 2011 Laura and her husband Frank established The Frione Family Scholarship through Everglades University, which provides four year scholarships for qualifying under privilege students who wish to pursue higher education and the many opportunities it affords for a successful, productive life.

In honor of her tremendous support of children in need, on October 28, 2016, Laura and Her husband Frank were awarded the Place of Hope, Jay Dipietro “Hero of Hope” Award.

Professionally Laura is the Vice President of Geologistics, Inc., a woman-owned small business specializing in geotechnical field services and construction engineering inspections. She is also the proud mother of her three children, and wife for 30 years to her husband Frank.
