Sarah Chappell is a Fort Lauderdale native and third generation Floridian. Sarah graduated from The Florida State University in 1999 with a degree in Political Science and Communication. After returning to Fort Lauderdale after graduation, she pursued her passion for helping others working with several local non-profits that serve children and families. In 2005, Mrs. Chappell along with her husband Tyler, founded The Chappell Group, Inc. a women-owned and operated, environmental consulting firm serving Florida and the Caribbean. The Chappell Group, Inc. provides environmental consulting services to both the public and private sectors.
Sarah has one daughter and a rescue dog. She volunteers with several local non-profits and loves to travel, fish, garden, and cook. Mrs. Chappell is a Leadership Broward Graduate, Class 22, past member of the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, and current member of Florida Association of Environmental Professionals, South Florida Association of Environmental Professionals, Friends of Birch State Park, Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center, and Jack & Jill Children’s Center.
