2025 Impact at a Glance: Creating Opportunity That Changes Reality

For many children, the future can feel predetermined by zip code, circumstances, or access. At The Crockett Foundation, the work begins with a simple yet powerful belief: when children are given real opportunity, they can change their reality.

In 2025, that belief translated into measurable outcomes across classrooms, communities, and career pathways. This Impact at a Glance offers a snapshot of what happens when opportunity is paired with consistency, exposure, and support. A more comprehensive Impact Report will be released soon, sharing the stories behind the numbers.

Opening Doors Where They Matter Most

This year, The Crockett Foundation served 720 youth across 14 schools, reaching students at pivotal stages of development. The majority of participants were middle school students, a time when confidence is fragile and future paths often narrow without intervention.

By engaging students early and providing ongoing support through high school and beyond, the Foundation focuses on changing trajectories before they are set in stone. Elementary, high school, and college-aged participants were also supported, reinforcing a long-term approach to opportunity rather than a one-time program experience.

Afterschool and summer programs continued to grow as more families sought meaningful enrichment:

  • Digital Explorers served 355 students
  • Youth FORCE engaged 290 students
  • CAF Scholars supported 75 students

Each program is designed not just to educate, but to expand what students believe is possible for themselves.

Tackling the Barriers That Limit Potential

Changing a child’s reality means addressing the barriers that shape it.

In 2025, the Foundation focused on community challenges that directly affect opportunity, including the digital divide, the underrepresentation of minority students in STEM pathways, declining college enrollment, and limited access to workforce skill development.

Rather than addressing these challenges in isolation, programs were designed to connect academics, technology, career exposure, and personal development into a more comprehensive support system for students and families.

Turning Exposure into Possibility

Opportunity becomes real when students can see, touch, and experience it.

This year, students logged 710 miles on experiential field trips, visiting colleges, corporations, and innovation-driven spaces they had never previously imagined themselves in. As a result:

  • 94% of participants attended at least one college or corporate tour
  • 82% of middle school participants demonstrated proficient digital literacy skills
  • 90% of high school participants completed more than 75 hours of hands-on work experience through internships

These experiences do more than build resumes. They shift mindset, replacing uncertainty with clarity and possibility.

Opportunity changes reality, but only when it’s sustained.

Your support helps ensure students continue to have access to education, exposure, and experiences that reshape what they believe is possible.

Investing in the Whole Child

True opportunity extends beyond academics.

Through the Innovation Center, The Crockett Foundation invested $398,013.43 in value-added programs designed to prepare students for life, not just school. On average, students participated in 60 hours of programming per month, including resume development, digital technology training, SAT prep, financial literacy, and mental health and wellness support.

For CAF Scholars, the opportunity was also financial. In 2025, $159,000 in scholarships helped remove economic barriers to postsecondary education. Those investments contributed to a 100% graduation rate, reinforcing the impact of sustained, wraparound support.

Powered by Shared Belief

The Foundation’s impact is amplified through partnerships with more than a dozen public and private organizations that share a commitment to expanding opportunities for youth. Together, these partners help ensure that students are surrounded by support systems strong enough to change outcomes, not merely influence them.

What Comes Next

This Impact at a Glance captures the scope of the work but not its full depth.

Behind every number is a child whose reality has shifted, a student who now sees options rather than limits, and a family with renewed hope for what comes next. The forthcoming 2025 Impact Report will explore those stories in greater detail, offering a closer look at how opportunity, when delivered consistently and intentionally, creates lasting change.

When children are given the opportunity to reimagine their future, they do more than dream.
They change their reality.

If you believe every child deserves the chance to change their reality, we invite you to be part of what comes next.
