The Crockett Foundation 2025 Impact Report: A Year of Growth, Gratitude, and Measurable Impact

Download Full Report

“As we reflect on 2025, I am filled with pride and gratitude for the remarkable progress our organization has made and for the community that continues to believe in our mission.”

President and CEO Henri Crockett opens the 2025 Impact Report with gratitude. That tone reflects what this year truly represents — not just growth in numbers, but growth in reach, infrastructure, and long-term opportunities for youth and families across Broward County.

Earlier this year, we shared a snapshot of our progress. The full 2025 Impact Report now tells the deeper story behind that momentum — how intentional expansion, measurable outcomes, and disciplined stewardship are helping young people change their realities.

Expanding the Pipeline of Opportunity

Henri’s letter highlights one of the year’s most significant milestones: the continued expansion of our youth programs.

“What began as a focused effort to support older students has grown into a comprehensive educational pipeline.”

In 2025, the Digital Explorers program expanded to serve elementary students, reaching youth as early as fourth grade. This early investment reinforces what we have long believed: exposure and opportunity must begin before students make life-defining decisions about college and career pathways.

Across our core youth development programs — Youth F.O.R.C.E., Digital Explorers, and Crockett-Allen Family Scholars — we served 720 registered youth through 14 school partners in 16 Broward County neighborhoods.

Enrollment increased by 36 percent. Families are not just enrolling. They are committing to a pathway.

You can explore the full scope of our youth programs here.

From Exposure to Aspiration

Expansion means little without results. The 2025 Impact Report presents measurable outcomes across academic, behavioral, and college-readiness benchmarks:

  • 94 percent of youth expressed interest in pursuing higher education after a college or corporate visit
  • 100 percent of high school participants were accepted to at least two colleges
  • 82 percent of middle school youth demonstrated proficiency in digital literacy
  • 90 percent of youth reported avoiding maladaptive or risky behaviors

These outcomes reflect consistent mentoring, experiential learning, and intentional program design.

Twelve Crockett-Allen Family Scholars graduated this year, each receiving a four-year tuition scholarship through partnerships with the Matt and Lisa Allen Family Foundation and the Florida Prepaid College Foundation.

Behind every data point is a student who now sees a possibility where there was once uncertainty.

Innovation in Action

The Crockett Innovation Center remains the heartbeat of experiential learning.

With more than 5,000 square feet of flexible, technology-rich space, the Innovation Center connects classroom knowledge with real-world skills. In 2025, 544 youth attended at least one Innovation Center session, engaging in value-added programming that prepares them for future careers.

Students worked with:

  • 3D printers
  • Virtual reality headsets
  • Drones
  • Engineering kits
  • Digital workstations and esports lounges

These are not passive experiences. Students build, design, collaborate, and lead.

Field trips to college campuses, civic centers, and corporate offices extend this learning beyond the building. One Scholar said that traveling outside Florida helped place new colleges “on the radar” as she began planning life after high school.

This is how we build bridges to the future.

Strengthening Families and Communities

Youth success depends on stability at home and support within the community.

In 2025:

  • $12,269 in financial assistance supported more than 40 families
  • 2,240 families received free uniforms, shoes, and school supplies
  • 57,800 meals were served annually through youth programs
  • Female participation in STEM courses reached 88 percent

Community events such as the Crockett Innovation Expo and 7v7 Battle for the Beaches further expanded access to resources and connections.

Growth at the student level is reinforced by strength at the community level.

Responsible Growth and Financial Stewardship

The 2025 Impact Report also reflects healthy financial growth.

Overall revenue increased, driven by philanthropic contributions and grants from federated agencies, local governments, and private foundations. Although program expansion increased overall spending, only 11.8 percent of grant funds were used for general administrative duties.

We are proud to have earned Candid’s Gold Seal of Transparency, which reinforces our commitment to accountability and trust.

Growth without stewardship creates risk. Growth with discipline creates sustainability.

What Comes Next

The completion of our 2023–2025 Strategic Plan marks not an endpoint but a launch point for the next phase of growth. Priorities include:

  • Revenue diversification
  • Expanded program capacity
  • Increased brand awareness
  • Strengthened Board development
  • Broader community outreach

The mission remains clear: build character, develop leaders, and strengthen communities.

Invest in What’s Next: 2026 Signature Events

The impact outlined in the 2025 Impact Report is only possible because of community investment. As we look ahead, two signature events in 2026 will directly fund the programs, scholarships, experiential learning, and family support that define the Crockett Foundation’s mission.

When you attend, sponsor, or give, you are not simply supporting an event. You are investing in measurable outcomes for youth across Broward County.

Inaugural 2026 Broward County Girls Flag Football Classic

The Crockett Foundation and partners will present the Broward County Girls Flag Football Classic, a girls flag football tournament celebrating competition, leadership, and opportunity, on February 20–21, 2026.

This inaugural event represents more than athletic competition. It reflects our commitment to expanding visibility and access for young women while creating spaces where confidence and leadership can grow.

Support for this event helps strengthen youth programming and reinforces our broader commitment to developing leaders both on and off the field.

Now We Ask You to Help Us Deepen the Impact

The Crockett Foundation 2025 Impact Report shows what is possible when a community invests in its youth. The growth we experienced this year did not happen by chance. It happened because donors, partners, and families believed that consistent opportunity changes outcomes.

As our programs expand and more students enter the pipeline, the need for sustained support grows alongside our impact. Continued investment ensures that students receive early exposure to technology, hands-on experiential learning, mentorship, scholarships, and the stability to focus on their futures.

If this report affirms your belief in measurable results and responsible stewardship, we invite you to take the next step with us. Your gift directly supports the programs that build character, develop leaders, and strengthen communities across Broward County.

Make a gift today and help deepen the impact!

As Henri Crockett reminds us,

“Your belief in our mission fuels every success we celebrate and every challenge we are ready to meet.”

Together, we are not simply reporting progress.
We are building a lasting opportunity.
