About Us

The Crockett Foundation believes our kids deserve every opportunity to explore, engage and experience the changing world around them.

Our Mission:

Empowering Broward County’s future leaders

The Crockett Foundation is on a mission to build the future of Broward County, one child at a time.

Since 2002, the Crockett Foundation has positively impacted thousands of children’s lives across South Florida.

Our after school and summer youth development and coding programs have provided middle school students with the support they need to master their toughest academic challenges. These programs enable us to develop future leaders and improve communities.

With the generous support of our donors, the Crockett Foundation has helped thousands of students in our local communities graduate high school with better grades, new skills, and a fresh and more positive outlook on life.

What We Do and Why

  1. We believe that our youth should explore a Coding and Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education as they prepare for the jobs of the future.
  2. We believe that our youth deserve access to knowledge as they join the competitive academic and job markets.
  3. We believe that our hard-working youth need our assistance to reduce the financial toll that college enrollment bears on both them and their families.

Success Stories

This month we’d like to recognize Paiytn Mabra from Pompano Beach Middle School.

As a 6th grader, Paiytn is new to our PEACE program. She enjoys cheerleading and the arts activities that are organized after school. “Ms. Keisha and Mr. Striggles are kind teachers [Site Supervisor and Success Coach] that show us a lot of love every time we come in.” Welcome Paiytn!
