I was born in Buffalo, NY, raised in Indiana and moved to South Florida 30 years ago. I am married to my husband, Fred and we have 2 daughters (both married), a son and 2 grandchildren. I am a graduate of Ball State University with a BS in teaching. I am President of Geologistics, Inc, a woman owned geotechnical firm located in Pompano, Beach Fl since 2009.

I helped plan and execute MLK Day at Margate Middle School with Broward College and the Crockett Foundation. Students planted seeds and grew lettuce and herbs on 2 Tower Gardens. They harvested the food and took it home for their families to enjoy. I have volunteered with students in schools and with various sports organizations for 20 years throughout South Florida. Gardening and the environment are my passions. I am a member of the NGC and Boca Raton Garden Clubs.

I currently serve on the following boards: Secretary for The Crockett Foundation, JDRF, The Place of Hope, The Boca Raton Garden Club and Boca Harbour Homeowners Association. I am a 2016 Volunteer of the Year Award Nominee for The Place of Hope.

I am a firm believer that children are our future and education is the key to their success.
