The Crockett Foundation, a Broward County-based non-profit organization, has positively impacted the lives of thousands of children since its inception in 2002.
Its after-school and summer programs focus on the academic, behavioral, and psycho-social aspects of youth development. With the help of generous sponsors like you, we have helped over 1,000 students in our local community graduate from high school with improved GPAs and a more positive outlook on life. The organization’s unique youth development and academic programs have been driven by several key initiatives: (i) an emphasis on early exposure to STEM/STEAM education and innovation, (ii) experiential learning through coding and mixed media technologies, and (iii) leveraging individual and community resources to strengthen family capacity. The incorporation of Innovation Days and cultural enrichment field trips are just some of the dynamic strategies the Crockett Foundation utilizes to enhance student agency and family support. After more than 20 years of serving the local middle schools in Broward County, the Crockett Foundation’s resolve remains steadfast–finding new and innovative ways to expand opportunities that improve our youth’s standing in a changing world.

Coding In Academics
What We Do and Why
- We believe that our youth should explore a Coding and Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education as they prepare for the jobs of the future.
- We believe that our youth deserve access to knowledge as they join the competitive academic and job markets.
- We believe that our hard-working youth need our assistance to reduce the financial toll that college enrollment bears on both them and their families.
