Digital Explorers

The Crockett Foundation’s Digital Explorers program is an exciting afterschool and summer initiative that engages over 500 middle school students in Broward County, Florida, each year. With a focus on STEM exploration, the program offers youth a safe and inspiring space to learn cutting-edge skills such as coding (Python, JavaScript), eSports development, drone flight instruction, and virtual reality innovation. Through hands-on projects and leadership training, participants not only gain valuable tech expertise but also build academic, employability, and soft skills that pave the way for future success. Available at select Broward County Public middle schools, Digital Explorers offers a hybrid learning model that combines in-school and virtual instruction, ensuring students are well-prepared to explore exciting career paths in technology and beyond.
